3 Ways that Studying English Can Change Your Life | スタッフブログ | ベリタス(VERITAS)

Whether you are already embarked on the journey of mastering the skill of English communication or still unsure why speaking English is important for your life, here are some of my experiences that would be impossible without English:

       1. I did and You can – Study Abroad

Changes in my life started when I moved to South Korea to study in the university. With zero knowledge of Korean language, English has become my savior. I was able to not only study in the business school where every class was in English but also be a part of the international community of students from around the world. And  now I can say with confidence that it’s that global community that truly opened my eyes and my mind to the world we live in.

        2. I did and You can – Work in Any Country

Of course the majority of jobs would be in the native to the country language, however there is always a need for English speakers! And since English is considered to be the language of the Internet, the chances of finding remote work and working comfortably from the country of your dreams are way higher.

       3. I did and You can – Find International Friendships and Love

Of course life would not be complete without other people in it. One of the biggest fears that I hear people experience when moving to a new country is whether they can find new friendships and form real relationships. And here again English is the answer to your worries! Every foreigner from every corner of the world can easily find their circle by searching for English speaking communities. I always search for yoga or dance classes in English and meet same minded foreigners in those communities.

International marriage is not everyone’s dream but if it is yours, be sure that not only French is the language of love but a true connector of global couples is English! Both me and my husband have our own native languages but our mutual language is English. Neither of us have perfect pronunciation or grammar and we forget words sometimes and it’s okay! Communication doesn’t need to be perfect, it only needs to be clear.

I am from Russia, a country which is considered to be one of the worst when it comes to English speaking and yet with some hard work and a belief in myself I was able to break away and change my life, and you can too! And if you need some guidance and accountability on the way of mastering this skill then Veritas coaches are here to make your journey smooth and efficient. Make a leap and start changing your life today!
